We are planning to use brokerlink for a Smith Barney account beginning of 2002. This account will be "mixed", about 40 checks written per month plus many credit card and investment portfolio transactions.I would appreciate some feedback of what to expect. Thank you.

Once the broker data is downloaded from Smith Barney, it will be processed like the data from other brokers such as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Schwab, etc. If you want go ahead and download the data from Smith Barney now. Go ahead and load the data into BrokerLink but do NOT post it. This will let you see how the data actually appears. Or if you have specific concerns email us the data and we would be glad to check it out for you. As for the checks and credit card transactions within the brokerage account, they should come thru just like other non-investment transactions in the brokerage account. The memo or comments sent with the transactions will depend on that particular broker.
