You should be able to download your Wachovia transactions to use with BrokerLink through the Wachovia Securities website. According to the Wachovia Securities website their “Account Download” feature lets you export account information, including balances, holdings and transactions, to either Quicken or Microsoft Money. You select the accounts to be downloaded, choose the time period, and click on “Download to Quicken” or “Download to Money”. By clicking on “Download to Quicken” or “Download to Money” you will be downloading a transaction file from Wachovia Securities to your computer. Just like Quicken and Money, BrokerLink can also read this file. Once you have downloaded this file, you will want to launch BrokerLink and select this file that you have downloaded to your computer. See the section “Using Web Connect to Import Data” on page 44 of your BrokerLink manual for instructions on how to use files that you have downloaded to your computer with BrokerLink.
Furthermore, because Wachovia Securities does not yet appear as a broker you can select from the list of brokers in BrokerLink, you will want to select the “any other OFX/QFX broker” as the broker to use in BrokerLink.
Let us know if you were able to download a transaction file from the Wachovia Securities website and then use the file with BrokerLink. You can find a description of the Wachovia website services and links to login at the following web address: http://www.wachoviasec.com/accessOnline/descript.shtml
