Good Afternoon,I have accounts with Ameritrade, GoldmanSachs, Etrade, etc., none have worked so far. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong. I frequently get the error massage: "Acct # ____ was not found in OFX file. Verify the Acct # and file name are correct." I know to look in "Asset and Liability Info..." to verify the acct number in FN. How can I find out what acct number and/or format each broker/statement/file uses? Also, the direct connect to these accounts is not working either. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Please help me if you can. Thank you.

Hello,When you download your transactions make sure you select the OFX, QFX file format (MS Money, Quicken). Otherwise BrokerLink will not be able to use the file. Verify the bank account numbers in BrokerLink. From the “Select BrokerLink File” window, go to the menu item Tools | BrokerLink Transaction Options… | List Broker Account Numbers… If the account number in BrokerLink does not match to the brokerage statement, go to the “Edit Broker Account Numbers” button and make the changes. Before you can begin downloading your transactions using the direct connect feature in FN, you must create a user id and password with that brokerage house. Thanks, Matthew
