Good Morning,I just got off the phone with Ameritrade and verified that (1) they have files available in the OFX format and (2) that the client can use the same username and password to access the files through FN (or Quicken, etc.)as he does to access his account online. In other words, there is no special login or PIN number required.
Therefore, I tried to access OFX files from Ameritrade through BrokerLink, but had no success.
The error message included the following:
"Successful query to server: ofx.ameritrade.com"
"Disconnected"
"Nothing received from request."
There is a lot of activity in my Ameritrade accountd, and it would be very helpful to use FN to organize it all.
Could let me know if there is something I'm doing wrong? Perhaps call Ameritrade if necessary.
