A transfer clearing account transaction was used to transfer 180,000
between two accounts. Only one transaction occured, but for some reason FN
is seeing it twice. I deleted the transaction on both sides and the FN is
still showing the $$$$$ to be reconciled. If the operator made an error
in the transaction, deleted it, and then re-entered again correctly, could
FN be remembering the deleted transaction?

Please advise. I would like to know how to find this "invisible"
transacation. I have performed test & correct and all is said to be
correct.

Transfer Clearing Account
1. Was a transfer clearing account used for the 180,000 transfer? If so, does a Transactions by Account report for the transfer clearing account show the previously deleted transaction amount? Is the ending balance of the transfer clearing account zero?

Bank Account with reconcile problem
2. Does the running balance for your bank account differ from its monthly balance at the bottom of the transaction entry screen? Select View | Monthly Activity if you do not see the Month details at the bottom of the Transaction Entry screen.

3. Have you tried running a Transasctions by Account report for the bank account? Does one side of the previously deleted transaction amount show up in this report?
