However, when I use the Multiple Distribution screen to do that, the Transfer Clearing Account is not invoked and the transactions do not appear on the Transaction Activity screens for those accounts. fni_support Moderator	posted 01-08-2007 12:55 PM You are correct; Transfer Clearing Account only works with simple transactions on the Transaction Activity screen, not on Multiple Distributions. I will pass that on to the developers as a possible enhancement. One workaround is to make separate entries for each part of the Multiple Distribution. Another workaround is to do the Transfer Clearing Account entries manually: Use Transfer Clearing Account as the account in the Multiple Distribution. Switch to the Transfer Clearing Account and enter the second half of the transaction there. As always, it is good to run a Transactions by Account report for the Transfer Clearing Account and verify that the ending balance is zero. - David FNI Technical Support [This message has been edited by David (edited 03-25-2008).] IP: Logged
