In one of my entities, "GENERAL JOURNAL" appears on the balance sheet with a $20,000.00 amount, with no offset in liabilities, making me $20,000 out of balance. How can I remove it? In another entity I am out of balance by $1081.20 and would like to make a one-sided entry to put me back in balance. I don't understand how either of these could happen in the first place. I would certainly appreciate any help. Tom

Thanks for the questions.

1) Try Test & Correct Balances. That may reset your balances and solve the problem.

2) Run Transactions by Account report to view transactions that are affecting the balance but not showing up on the Transaction Activity screen.
