I have used FN since it first came out in the 1980's and this is the first time I have had a real problem I couldn't solve. If I make an entry and designate an account for it to be credited or debited to, FN duplicates the entry and then backs it out as a change in account balance. If I enter it as a multiple distribution and then enter the single account impacted, the transaction shows correctly. So, of course, I have to make every entry a multiple distribution. I've done all the test and correct actions and it makes no difference.

When you enter a single transaction as you describe, where does the duplicate appear? Is there two identical transactions on the Transaction Activity screen? Or do the duplicates only appear on reports like Transactions by Account?
If the duplicates are only in reports, we recently fixed a bug related to sorting that was causing duplicates. Please perform Software Update so that you have Navigator Version 8.2.9 or later. Then try it again. If you still have duplicates, please reply with your Navigator Version number.
