I am trying to enter large deposits for credit to an account. When I enter the payee and it automatically remembers the account, a screen pops up "Entry Too Large". When I say ok and go on to enter the amount a screen pops up "Entry Too Large", I say ok and another screen pops up "Verify Balances for Account for July". The account balance screen shows no balance for july. What should I do?

Hi,

A couple of questions to help to determine the problem:

Which version of Financial Navigator are you running (Professional Office Edition, Standard Office, or Personal Edition)?

What is the dollar amount of the transaction you are trying to enter?

Some versions of Financial Navigator cannot accept extremely large transactions, so this information can help narrow down the problem.

Thanks,

hi

I am using Standard Office Edition Version 8.2.5.

It doesn't seem to matter what amount I enter, I get the same error response. The amounts range from 11,000,000.00 to 20,000.00.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

The Standard Office Edition supports a maximum of $50 million in one account. What is the account balance of the account you are trying to enter the transaction in to?

If the account already has a large balance before you enter the transaction, it might be putting the balance over that amount, which is not supported in Standard Office Edition.

Thanks,
