Is there any way to follow the Navigator ROI calculation through the system? The mathematical equation is one thing but I would like to try to match it up with our activity.

You can export the transactions—and do “what-if” analysis—with TValue software. See the Navigator ROI 8.2 manual pages 153-156. TValue is available at www.timevalue.com/tvalue.aspx.

Also, what I do sometimes is to create a new test entity and enter the minimum transactions to test a particular scenario and then run Navigator ROI. Then I recreate that scenario in Excel or TValue to compare results to better understand it. Then I clone the entity and try a slightly different slightly scenario to see what changes in ROI/Excel/TValue.

Note that TValue is the engine inside Navigator ROI, so using TValue externally should give you the same results as Navigator ROI.
