We have many entities that are organized in nested folders. When we use the conversion program to List all the 8.2 data prior to converting it to 9.0, it finds the data folders OK, but it also finds a few of the higher-level folders that don't have any data:
FNdata
Entity 1
2006
2007
Entity 2
2006
2007
Besides the 2006 & 2007 folders, it also lists the Entity 1 folder (but not the Entity 2 folder).

The Entity 1 folder may inadvertently contain some Navigator data files. If the List function finds a usr2.dat file, it assumes the folder contains data.

Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the Entity 1 folder. It should have only folders in it. If you see any files, create a new folder "Entity 1 Mystery Files" and move the orphan files into the new folder.

At some point, you can delete the mystery folders. You may want to try to open them in Navigator 8.2 and/or back them up first, in case they turn out to be valuable data.
