I backed up all my entities and years. Then I started over with a new database (just the sample data). But when I try to import form the backup, it says I can only import from a file that contains a single entity.

You are correct; currently Import only does one entity at a time (which means you'd have to create a separate backup for each entity.

Instead, you can rename your backup file to fn001.mdb and copy that file to your Navigator data folder. The backup file is really just a copy of your database with a descriptive file name. Before you copy the file, make a backup copy of your current fn001.mdb file since it will be overwritten.
