Once in a while I get a Navigator error meesage "Navigator has encountered a problem and needs to close...Please tell Microsoft about the problem..." It has choices "Debug" "Send Error Report" and "Don't Send." Should I be concerned?

We have seen that message too. Mostly it seems to happen when Navigator has been running on your computer overnight or for many hours but not used, and then you close Navigator.

From the screen shot you sent, it looks like you had not closed Navigator. Do you remember what you were doing just before the message appears?

We have not had any reports of problems due to this error message. We suspect it could be related to the tool bar (the Open, Enter, Change, etc. icons at the top of the screen). When Navigator restarted, was the tool bar still there? I think sometimes after this error the toolbar disappears and you have to select Options | Show Toolbar to get it back.

Please let us know if this error reappears and what you were doing each time just before it appeared. That will help us track down the cause.

When it does appear, select Don’t Send. Microsoft doesn’t care about it and they don’t forward the error to us.
